Our final Costa Rican offering this year, and it is a DOOZY. This natural process lot from Don Sabino micro-mill in the central valley of Costa Rica was vetted by our friends at Cafe Imports in Minneapolis and received glowing marks when tasted. Hiver and Esteven Vargas, a father-son team, only process natural coffees -they like the flavor so much-) which gives them a ton of experience in drying the coffees just right to get intensely sweet, juicy and vibrant cups of coffee. This lot from the farm El Fuerte -meaning “the strong”-) exhibits all those attributes in a complex and supremely pleasing cup.
