Esteban Quesada is the owner of Finca Quesamu, a three-generation family farm started in the 50s by his grandfather, who was responsible for beginning the area’s urbanization, triggering economic growth for the small community. Esteban has refined his farming practices and works with a nearby cooperative to produce microlot-level specialty coffees. His ripest cherry is delivered to one of the cooperative’s delivery sites where it is naturally processed, drying for 25 days on patios. This lot of Catuai and Caturra varieties delivers tons of sweetness and delicious tangy fruit flavors.
