Henry and Verena Gaibor met while working for Doctors without Borders in Burundi in 1996.  After moving back to Henry’s home of Ecuador and running a clinic for 13 years, they devoted themselves to another common passion: coffee. They now own and operate three farms including Finca Maputo where, despite relatively low altitude, the micro-climate produces some fantastic and unique coffees. This lot of Typica variety showcases their work with complex, sweet and balanced flavors.
