Layo Taraga is a washing station in the Guji zone of Ethiopia that serves about 500 small farmers in the area surrounding the town of Haro Wachu. This particular lot is a selection of Bourbon variety, which is rare to see in a country with somewhere between six thousand to ten thousand different native varieties. This lot also went through an additional round of hand sorting to select the best cherries to process together. The result is a vibrant and clean cup with a character all its own.
