Our sourcing efforts from Guatemala in the pat few years have primarily focused on the regions of Huehuetenango and Acatenango, yielding crisp and bright coffees that we have grown to look forward to each year. But after tasting this lot from the region around the western shores of Lake Atitlan, we couldn’t pass it up. Whether it is from the rich volcanic soil where the coffee is grown or the unique micro-climates created by the proximity to the lake, this coffee presented itself to us as something new and exciting that we had to share with you all.
