Our connection to Colombia continues to grow stronger year after year… we fall more and more in love with the land, people and coffees the more time we spend with them. In addition to always having a beautiful washed Colombian coffee available, our relationships in Colombia have allowed us to do the same with natural processed coffees from the country. “PRO TEJO” refers to a common late night pass-time in the hills of Colombia; the game Tejo (TAY-ho) basically has you throwing an iron ball at a pile of sand, hoping to hit the pocket of gunpowder inside. We decided to pay tribute to the wild and explosive natural coffees to be found in Colombia by naming this rotating selection after the equally delightful game.

This current lot of natural processed coffee comes from Diego Horta in Santa Maria, Huila. He focuses on innovation, quality, sustainability and biodiversity and has delivered a fantastic coffee with notes of tropical fruits, citrus and tons of sweetness.
