Oddly Correct is a small, locally owned coffee roaster that’s been operating here in KC for 12 years with a focus on creating a context for people to discover and appreciate coffee as vibrant and engaging beverage while striving for equity for all who work to bring coffee from seed to cup.

We’ve been at the corner of Westport and Main St for nearly 10 years now, but have an opportunity to move to a space at 42nd and Troost that would give us a little more space to pursue our goals in coffee and food service.

As a business with white ownership, we’re aware of the significance of moving our business to what has been a racial and cultural dividing line in our city and we want to engage the neighborhoods we’ll be near at this new location to figure out how we can serve the people closest to us best while having a positive impact on the community and nearby businesses. So we’ve created this short set of questions to find out what people would like to see at a coffee shop in this neighborhood. We hope that with your help, we can be a valuable part of the surrounding communities.
